Aponogeton ulvaceus is a large, fast-growing aquatic bulb plant from Madagascar known for its delicate, transparent, light-green, wavy, or curly leaves that can reach lengths of 30-60 cm. It's best suited for large aquariums as a solitary "centerpiece" plant, requires good lighting and nutrients for growth, and features a conical tuber from which the leaves emerge. The plant also undergoes a required dormant period, where the bulb rests and waits for the "wet season" to regrow leaves
